(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Laboratory Technologist/Technician - NEW Cytotechnologist OR Cytotech Opening at a large laboratory that provides comprehensive anatomic, clinical and molecular pathology services. This laboratory specializes in hematology, oncology, dermatology, urology, gynecology, non-gyn cytopathology, neuropathology, and forensic medicine. This laboratory is fully certified by the state of Tennessee, College of American Pathologists (CAP), the Joint Commission, and the Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).
This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full-time Cytotech on DAYS (7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday). The cytotech will be responsible for examining gynecological and non-gynecological slides to detect evidence of diseased conditions and pre-malignant and malignant cells. For consideration, applicants must have graduated from an approved school of Cytotechnology and be certified as a Cytotechnologist through ASCP. In addition, applicants will be required to obtain Tennessee Licensed as a Cytotechnologist.
