About the Role
As a Physical Therapist at Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise, you will provide quality, evidence-based and individualized programs of physical therapy that include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to help patients achieve optimal recovery and well-being. Your caseload will be primarily orthopedic with a variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal diagnoses as well as vestibular and other conditions.
Your Typical Day
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists. Review patients’ functional needs and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Design and implement plans of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development; Plans will include but are not limited to manual therapy, aquatic therapy, neuromuscular training, modalities and functional rehabilitation.
- Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care.
- Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs; Promote patient’s healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Document patient care services via EMR.
- Direct the assistance of support staff as needed to achieve patients’ functional goals.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops.
- Provide direction and leadership to staff as required and act as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.

About You
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited school of physical therapy
- Active or pending state license to practice physical therapy
- Experience or interest in a geriatric physical therapy setting
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages
- Drive to continually learn and grow
