Location: North Campus- 4050 W. Memorial Road, OKC OK 73120
Shift: Full-Time, Midshift, 8:30am-7:00pm 10 hour shifts/ on call required.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision of the Cardiac Cath Team Leader, performs all radiology procedures directly related to the Cath Lab utilizing all standards for quality and radiation safety. Willing to work in other areas of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, as needed. Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to federal and state regulations. Actively participates in the routine checks of all radiology equipment and all other equipment used in the department within the scope of practice. Collaborates with the team leader, resource nurse and all other team members in idea sharing, utilization of resources, as well as assists in the cross training of the staff when assigned. Assists the team leader as needed for projects aimed at achieving the hospital mission and incorporating the values of the hospital in day-to-day activities. Participates in and encourages teamwork to provide patient-focused care.
QualificationsEducation: Two year AMA approved program in Radiographic Technology, AS or BS degree
Licensure/Certification: ARRT and BLS required. ACLS required within 18 months of hire.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
Working Knowledge: Able to perform at a proficient level all radiology procedures related to the cardiac cath lab in both acute and stable patients. Able to scrub, assist, and perform all other tasks as needed to perform all cases in the cath lab to include electro physiology, pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and interventions within the scope of practice.
