Jackson, MS ARRT MRI Technologist***RELOCATION TO TEXAS REQUIRED***MLR is collaborating with a respected healthcare system in West-Central Texas to recruit a skilled MRI Technologist. Position Overview:
- Perform MRI procedures to produce detailed images of patients’ internal structures.
- Operate MRI equipment, ensuring precise positioning and image acquisition while maintaining patient safety.
- Review and interpret MRI images for diagnostic quality, collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient care and education, explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety protocols.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control practices and equipment safety standards.
ARRT MRI Technologist Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
- Prior experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certification as an MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- State licensure (if applicable).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
