Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Audiologist looking to consolidate their experience following graduation or returning to Audiology.
We are looking for an Audiologist to join our friendly Audiology team based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The historic market town of Chesterfield is situated on the edge of the Peak District with excellent links to the City of Sheffield only 12 miles away.
The successful post holder will work within the team environment at the Royal Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will assist in the provision of audiology services providing diagnostic support to the ENT department and comprehensive community rehabilitative services across North Derbyshire.
Applicants must possess a BSc in Audiology or equivalent.
Experience of working within a modernised hearing aid service is essential.
Previous experience at Band 5 level and evidence of management and leadership skills are desirable but not essential.

Skills & Knowledge
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organisational/ time management skills
- Evidence of post basic training
- Evidence of advanced audiology practice
- Holds full driving licence
Experience
- Clinical audiology experience
- Clinical experience as a band 5 audiologist
- Clinical audiology experience within the NHS
Qualifications & Training
- BSc Audiology or equivalent
- Able to register for RCCP
- For those applicants with BAA part 1 and 2, HNC/HND
