The Nectar Group is hiring a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Neuropsychologist to oversee and complete diagnoses and reports for Psychoeducational Testing for our cognitive training and tutoring center.
***Candidates must be located in a state that participates in Psypact and either have a Psypact license or be willing to obtain this licensure at hire.
You will play a vital role in positively and dramatically impacting the lives of both school age students (K-12) and adults. We complete a comprehensive assessment process as part of our approach of being able to identify root causes of learning challenges, areas of strength, and clarity on the best recommendations for interventions that will resolve learning challenges.
The Nectar Group works with clients to improve their cognitive and academic skills such as; memory, executive functioning and problem solving along with content areas of reading, writing, and math through cognitive training, academic coaching, and study skills coaching. We work with students who want to unlock their full potential in order to overcome learning challenges and disabilities. We provide unique, customized coaching and tutoring programs rooted in neuroscience.
This is a part-time contract position. The psychologist is paid per assessment report completed. You will complete the clinical interview with the parent and/or client (depending on the age of the client being assessed). A psychometrist will administer the assessments to the client. You will review all completed testing and testing notes, render any diagnoses as appropriate, and write the psychoeducational report in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team at The Nectar Group. We take a holistic, integrative approach to treatment plans and the psychologist must be comfortable with this non-medication approach. The Nectar Group team handles all scheduling, collection of paperwork and payment, and all logistics. As the psychologist, you provide times monthly that you are available for interviews and you have 2 weeks to complete the reports from the time you receive all test documentation. You are able to set your own hours and can dictate how many reports you complete each month. We ask that you be available to do at least 2-4 reports per month but if more work is desired it is available. We also have opportunities for you to provide supervision and consultation on certain cases and you are paid hourly for these as they present.

Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (D-KEFS)
Integrated Visual and Auditory Continuous Performance Test (IVA-2)
Nelson-Denny Reading Test (NDRT)
Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing (CTOPP-2)
Gray Oral Reading Tests Fifth Edition (GORT-5)
Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI)
Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale
Other ASD screens and assessments and screens as needed
Psychologist Qualifications:
· Licensed Clinical Psychologist in a Psypact state (a Psypact license will be required at hire)
· Must know how to administer, score, interpret, and write reports for psychoeducational test batteries for K-12, college students, and adults.
· Must be expert at diagnosing learning disabilities and co-occurring disorders such as ADHD.
· It is strongly preferred that graduate level course work has been completed in the following areas of study:
o Basic tests and measurements
o Descriptive statistics
o Intelligence/cognitive testing
o Speech, hearing, and language assessment
o Intelligence/cognitive testing
o Educational diagnostics
o Neuropsychological assessment
o Projective techniques
o Developmental milestone assessment
Must be comfortable working with all ages and ability levels from talented and gifted, typical learners, to individuals with learning disabilities and disorders such as ASD or ADHD.
