Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the highest quality of patient care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. This role requires a proactive approach to managing nursing operations, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care standards.
- Oversee utilization management to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Ensure high-quality care for patients in ASC health settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Oversee infection control policies and procedures.
- Occurrence reporting to RIDOH as needed.
- Credentialing and privileging physicians and anesthesia providers.
- Provide physicians and anesthesia providers with quarterly chart reviews.
- Attend partner meetings once per quarter to present any issues/concerns to the physicians.
- Oversee CQI program and demonstrate knowledge of CQI policies, addressing the full scope of the organization's healthcare delivery system.
- Order medications along with monthly medication inventory.
- Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
Experience
- A valid nursing license with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience in a management or supervisory role is preferred.
- Proficiency in utilization management practices and emergency medicine protocols.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments while maintaining a focus on quality patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,711.00 - $85,000.00 per year
