Staff Nurse RN (0.6 FTE) - Richfield Clinic

SUMMARY
Hennepin Healthcare is hiring a Staff Nurse RN (0.6 FTE: 3 days/week, 8 hour shifts) for our Richfield Clinic to work day shift. This position is currently Monday-Friday day hours but may expand to include evenings and weekends as we grow.
A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:
- Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health
- Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care
- Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response
- Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
- Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
- Educating patient on their disease process
- Assuring continuity of care
- Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Ambulatory/Clinic setting
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
If you are not currently in an Ambulatory department, you would be subject to the Ambulatory pay scale.
