Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pathologist to join our team. As a Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing diseases through the examination of tissue samples, bodily fluids, and other specimens. You will work closely with medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and contribute to the best possible patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and analyze tissue samples, cytology specimens, and other laboratory tests to diagnose diseases, including cancer and other pathological conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss diagnostic findings and offer expert opinions.
- Perform autopsies and provide detailed findings for legal or medical investigations (if applicable).
- Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in pathology.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of findings and reports.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree: A four-year undergraduate degree, typically in pre-med, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Medical School: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Training and Certification:
- Residency in Pathology: Completion of a 3-4 year residency program in:
- Anatomic Pathology (AP)
- Clinical Pathology (CP)
- Combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
Fellowship (Optional): Additional subspecialty training in areas such as forensic pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, or dermatopathology is advantageous.

- Detailed knowledge of anatomy, laboratory techniques, and disease mechanisms.
