Come and be a part of our RN Float Pool. You will float to all our acute care units (medical surgical, med tele and ortho floors) with the long term option for training to critical care. This will include PCU units such as BMT, complex transplant surgical, blood cancer, complex spine.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse Float Pool (RN) position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical care to meet the needs of the whole person.
What you will do in this role:
- The Acute Care RN is responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the general medical/surgical populations utilizing the nursing process.
- Special populations include vascular, wound care, GI, ophthalmology and bariatric surgeries.
- Oversees and directs the care of LPN’s and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
- When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Current ACLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- BSN desirable.
- Two years’ nursing experience minimum with specialty in acute care preferred.
