Our client is located in a small town that is known for its friendly and fun residents where you can enjoy a rural lifestyle. If you want to take a break from the great outdoors, they are only 2 hours away from Portland, OR and Seattle, WA to get your big city fix! Our client is deeply involved in the community of Chehalis, where they founded a non-profit organization to help the animals in the community who have been neglected, abused, or abandoned.
Practice Overview
Our client has been around for 50 years serving the pets of Chehalis. Since then, they have made significant renovations to elevate the space and ensure a modern appeal. As a Fear Free certified practice, they want their patients and clients to enjoy their experience and provide the highest quality of medicine possible. They are equipped with ultrasound, ECG services, digital X-rays, cold laser therapy, dental X-rays, in-house lab, and are always open to bringing in the newest technology and equipment! They cultivate an environment where everyone on the team is close and collaborates effectively.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams
- Educate clients on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Interest in dental procedures
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
- Proficient surgical skills
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to collaborate and have a positive attitude
