Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Site Staff Physician for Team Health to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the improvement of occupational health practices in our growing health network. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and a thorough, current, and working knowledge of: OSHA regulations; toxic exposure protocols; workers' compensation rules, regulations and patient management; Fitness for Duty and Return to Work; Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screening rules and regulations.

- Act as the gatekeeper for all assigned employees receiving treatment for work-related injuries, ensuring appropriate and timely care.
- Collaborate with various professionals to establish effective treatment plans and promote compliance with occupational medicine standards and regulations.
Requirements Include
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Occupational Medicine or comparable areas such as Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or experience treating acute work-related injuries.
- Obtain or have the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License.
- Obtain ABMS Board certification within 5 years of residency/fellowship training and ensure renewal as per Team Health leadership guidance.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification OR ability to acquire as early as 3 months of hire and no more than 12 months of hire.
- Certification as DOT medical examiner preferred OR ability to acquire as early as 3 months of hire and no more than 12 months of hire.
- Active DEA and CDS license.
- BLS certification.
