Join a growing clinic and infusion team providing excellent care to oncology and non-oncology infusion patients. This position gives RNs a place to practice high tech, high acuity care, in a clinic setting. Clinic hours are 8-5 Mon-Friday, without weekends or holidays. Schedule is 4 days per week with a rotating day off. Services provided include: assisting with sedation procedures, administering chemotherapy and biotherapy, administering blood product transfusion, patient education, and much more. Our team of 4 physicians, 3 NPs, research associates, and nurses care for patients from birth through their 20's. The best candidates will have pediatric or oncology experience, will be very flexible, and highly motivated to learn!

Responsible for the coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other interventions.
Job Description
Requires excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize/triage the needs of the patients and the practice. Occasionally works in emergent patient care situations requiring critical thinking and prompt assessment skills. Will perform age-related patient assessment and intervention as well as scheduling tests and interventions per provider order. Responsible for utilizing the professional nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients across the age continuum in an ambulatory setting. Cares for patients in all phases of specific states including assessment, disease maintenance, treatment, and follow-up as patients move in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Must have working knowledge of electronic medical records. May work with or participate with or without provider in hospital and on hospital patients and take call with the provider, as needed. Abides by respective healthcare agency's policies. Provides a quality of service that customers describe as excellent. Must be skilled in assessment and triage of patients with various conditions and devices both in person and in using the appropriate mode of electronic communication. Collaborates with providers and delivers appropriate assistance during surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
