General Summary: Implements a broad range of recruitment, admission, and marketing-related efforts for the Physician Assistant program within the guidelines of federal, state, and local laws and office, division, and college policies and procedures. Responsible for managing the successful implementation of recruitment strategies and the admission process to meet the PA program's annual enrollment goals. Collaborates with co-workers, prospective students, and other stakeholders in seeking, attracting, and enrolling applicants to the PA program at Agnes Scott College.
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborates with the Director of Graduate Admission, develops and manages strategies to optimize yield and achieve graduate admission goals from admission through enrollment and matriculation, with attention to enrolling a highly diverse student population to meet annual enrollment goals for the Physician Assistant program.
- Provides advising and support through the admissions process for prospective students including recruitment, outreach, and engagement. Interprets college and admission policies and practices to prospective students and other stakeholders.
- Plans and executes on-campus, off-campus, and virtual recruitment and yield events, including visits to universities, recruitment fairs, professional presentations, and conferences to support recruitment and raise visibility.
- Collaborates with the Director of Graduate Admission and PA program director to manage the full application process, from application tracking, pre-screening reader review, and decision notification. Maintains graduate applicant records and processes utilizing Slate CRM and Liaison WebAdmit CASPA application portal.
- Manages and organizes the PA interview process, including on-campus event logistics, communication with prospects, etc., to ensure optimum outcomes.
- Collaborates with graduate enrollment staff and other staff across the college to ensure effective and accurate communication campaigns in CRM and application portal, from prospect to matriculation.
- Supervises graduate student assistants.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related occupational field of study. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience in admission (preferably graduate admission and/or health sciences) or a related field. Slate CRM experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Other:
- Proficiency with Slate CRM, word processing and spreadsheet software (MS Word, Excel).
- Excellent written, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with diverse students, faculty, and staff at the College and outside the organization.
- Collaborative work-style in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational, technical, and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and effectively use time.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism consistent with accreditation standards, including the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Ability to use, interpret, and analyze data in Excel to determine the most effective utilization of resources.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all constituencies, including prospective graduate students, applicants, alums, faculty, students, and campus partners.
- Desire to support a diverse and inclusive campus environment.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Irregular, weekend, and evening hours are required.
Physical Demands:
Intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, and occasional moving of light objects. Work is performed in an office with occasional travel.
