POSITION SUMMARY:
Promotes quality patient care through the performance of diagnostic and interventional radiography utilizing appropriate technique, established protocols, physician direction and age-specific guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of contrast agents, injector systems, angiography equipment, supplies, radiation safety and quality assurance guidelines and applies such knowledge in day to day performance of duties.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year radiographic experience in surgical or other invasive imaging, or experience sufficient to obtain ARRT advanced certification in Interventional Radiography.
- Current Texas Department of State Health Services License.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Graduation from an approved/accredited School of Radiologic Technology is required.
