Lifeways are looking for a Care Team Leader to work alongside our Service Manager in the leadership and day-to-day management of our established service Newark-on-Trent. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of support workers to ensure excellent person-centred care and support is delivered.
- Involved in the recruitment and ongoing development of support workers through staff supervisions, candidate interviews, and providing guidance.
- Communicate effectively with staff, people we support, and outside professionals.
- Maintain good written communication and IT skills for record keeping.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours. Flexibility to work 7am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-10pm on a rota basis Monday to Sunday is essential.
- Flexibility to cover nights is also required.

Minimum Requirements:
Applicants from experienced Care Team Leaders/Senior Support Workers holding an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) would be an advantage. However, if you are a dedicated Care Assistant or Carer with a solid track record and the ambition to progress, Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing development for a rewarding career with us.
