EVENT REGISTRATION SPECIALIST
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is looking for our next Event Registration Specialist to join our team! This role will be responsible for supporting registration for all council events including programs and also facility site rentals and property reservations. This role is customer-facing and will provide high quality customer service to customers registering to participate in our programs or reserving one of our beautiful camp properties or facilities. An ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, demonstrate a high level of organizational skills and time management and be able to problem-solve as well as have prior experience in registration, customer support, data entry or performing general office duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide back-end office support and conduct registration activities for multiple Girl Scout programs and events.
- Inform customers of upcoming events and provide all details related to the event including deadlines, fee schedules and enrollee eligibility.
- Conduct registration for property and facility rentals, ensuring registrants have all rental details; confirm reservations and distribute confirmation and reservation documents for event attendance or facility usage in a timely manner.
- Provide courteous and timely customer service and support to volunteers and caregivers for all online event, camp or property reservations.
- Review, approve and process requests for financial assistance to participate in program events or necessary supplies such as camp supplies or uniforms. Ensure all requests are within guidelines and meet eligibility.
- Create and run regular utilization and attendance reports including the annual camp property report and monthly program attendance report.
- Collaborate with other departments including customer care, data, property and program to stay updated on program event offerings and information to ensure a seamless customer registration experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least two years of experience in general office/administrative support. Prior experience with reservations, appointment setting or registration a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with administrative assistant support functions
- Proficiency in computer skills and software – Microsoft Word and Excel, typing, data entry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to enter and organize data (create basic spreadsheets, produce reports, enter data accurately and timely)
