Sr. New Glenn Launch Support Specialist

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will lead technical teams to integrate customer payloads onto the New Glenn launch vehicle. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact our relationship with customers and enable integration and launch of their payloads. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the Blue Origin Mission Flight Director in managing launch campaign operational activities including launch day seating, communications requirements, process documentation, and integrated timelines.
- Integrate Blue Origin launch day processes with external stakeholders (customer, SLD 30/45, etc.); launch campaign requirements, addressing launch constraints, polling processes, timelines, and readiness reporting.
- Collaborate across launch execution, mission management, and customer experience teams to establish mission-specific launch campaign processes in support of customers and contract requirements.
- Lead Launch Operations and Launch Campaign working groups to design effective and seamless launch campaign processes; develop related reference materials.
- Working closely with the Mission Operations Training team, organize and oversee customer-related launch dress rehearsal activities, presenting mission academics to teams and customers, exercising relevant anomaly scenarios, and training customers to ensure seamless launch countdowns.
- Ensure ITAR compliant launch day operations for customers and partners in coordination with legal, customer experience, and mission operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years overseeing launch campaign integration processes including readiness checks, rehearsals, seating plans, and communications net requirements.
- 15+ years industry experience in launch systems, launch day processes, and customer integration.
- Extensive familiarity with USG launch customer processes including NASA, SLD 30/45, and USSF.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
- Top Secret eligibility with current SSBI & SCI Eligibility.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, team building skills, and people management skills.
- Familiarity with range infrastructure and teams involved in processing communications, telemetry, winds analysis, etc.
- Experience in working with commercial teams, international customers, and a wide variety of spacecraft systems.
