We have a full-time opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in Chandler, AZ. Clinic hours are M-F 7:30am-6:30pm and we offer flexibility with shift start/end times. Some evening and weekend hours may be required depending on client needs.
Responsibilities of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC):
- Provide direct treatment to children and training & assistance to families.
- Conduct new client assessments and initial treatment planning.
- Create individualized programming including establishing therapeutic goals; monitor and evaluate outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to incorporate evidence based strategies throughout daily treatment.
- Work side-by-side with management team to develop supplemental services and technology dedicated to raising the standard of care in the pediatric therapy industry.
Qualifications:
- MUST BE LICENSED AS SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA
- Minimum of 1 year of direct therapy experience.
- Excellent leadership skills with a desire to grow and mentor a team.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to collaborate on a multidisciplinary team.
- Must have reliable transportation for sessions at patients' homes and schools, and possess a clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must acquire certifications in CPR / First Aid.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and provide physically active engagement with children.
This is an active job. You may have to lift and carry clients. You will be required to move with the client, which means you will be kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time. You will have to move quickly to ensure clients are safe.
