Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Palliative Care

About this role:
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Palliative Care, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will work closely with a supportive team of 2 Palliative Care Physicians and 2 APPs at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.

- You'll work with a supportive and collaborative physician during your shift.
- You'll have a flexible schedule that prioritizes work/life balance.
- You'll work with our 30 plus provider hospitalist group and experienced ICU team. The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.
- EPIC EMR (system-wide)
- You'll assist patients with goals of care, symptom management, and more.

What you'll bring:
- An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
- Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.
- Passion for Palliative Care.
- Experience in Palliative Care, Hospice, inpatient care, or related specialty required.
