We are immediately hiring enthusiastic individuals from diverse backgrounds to provide personalized 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children (ages 2-11) in a supportive environment. At Early Autism Services, we provide the training needed to build your career and grow your skills as an RBT. You will work under the supervision of and receive guidance from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), supervisors, and mentors. Therapy sessions may take place in various settings, mostly in clinics, but on occasion could be at a client’s home or other community-based setting. This dynamic role requires both physical and mental energy, offering interactive and engaging experiences with your clients. Qualifications of an RBT:
- Registered Behavior Technician certification per the BACB
- BCBA student preferred but not required
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver’s license, maintain automobile insurance, and have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire
Responsibilities of an RBT:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
- Provide direct one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collect and analyze data to track individual progress and make data-driven decisions
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent and effective implementation of interventions
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address concerns
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of sessions and progress reports
- Attend regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development
Physical Requirements:
Physical capabilities include walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above head, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
