Navion Senior Living is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Clinical Specialist to join our team. The Clinical Specialist will be instrumental in assisting communities with clinical compliance and trends while providing education to team members and collaborating closely with the Senior Regional Director of Clinical Services to navigate and proactively manage clinical trends. The role requires frequent travel to our communities across the state of North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Supports goals of the organization, uphold, and promote company Culture, Core Values and Mission.
- Assist communities in identifying and addressing clinical compliance and trends.
- Provide education and training to team members on best practices in clinical care.
- Collaborate with the Senior Regional Director of Clinical Services to assess clinical compliance.
- Analyze clinical data to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance clinical quality and compliance.
- Conduct regular visits to communities to offer support and guidance.
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes to inform team practices.
- Assist communities with maintaining standards of care and regulatory compliance in the absence of community clinical leaders.
- Maintain professional appearance by adherence to community dress code while working on-site in a community.
- Frequent driving to our Navion communities is required for this position.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Work schedules and assigned tasks are completed in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Home Office.
- Promote and protect residents’ rights, assist residents to make informed decisions, treat residents with dignity and respect, support residents’ independent expression, choice, and decision-making consistent with all pertinent laws regarding residents’ rights. Report suspected abuse or neglect in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in senior care or long-term care environments.
- Strong knowledge of clinical regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel frequently within North Carolina. May require some air travel. Hold valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
