Accountabilities:
The Practice Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for promoting quality patient care and medical support services on a continuous basis, combining knowledge, skills of leadership, performance/quality improvement, communication, operations, and business in an outpatient Cardiology Setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance: Ensures compliance in accordance with federal and state regulations, fosters a culturally diverse environment, and demonstrates cultural competence in interacting with team members and clients/patients.
- Manages Change: Adapts to new challenges, embraces change, keeps staff informed of changes and the impact on the department, prioritizes, and meets deadlines.
- Leadership: Effectively and consistently communicates with superiors, peers, and employees. Routinely provides others with the information they need to do their jobs. Inspires staff and generates commitment to program and project goals.
- Accountability: Takes responsibility for personal decisions and actions. Demonstrates ethical behavior based on values consistent with expectations of leadership; eliminates favoritism; acts with integrity creating an environment of trust and mutual respect.
- Supervise Staff: Demonstrates competence in all essential functions of the clinical. Provides leadership, guidance, and acts as a resource to staff.
