Job Title: Nuclear Med Technologist Per Diem - Nuclear Medicine
Job Description: Competently performs standard, specialty and complex Nuclear Medicine procedures with little or no supervision, utilizing radio pharmaceuticals with accuracy, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions. Prepares radio pharmaceuticals for administration to the patient. Performs venipuncture and catheterization duties as needed. Sound knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology and Nuclear Medicine principles. Performs quality control procedures to ensure federal, state, and departmental standards/requirements are met. Assists in monitoring the daily quality assurance of the unit, while ensuring the equipment is operating according to manufacturer's specifications. Assists in the identification and resolution of work process issues within the department. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

About Us: The Nuclear Medicine department, which encompasses PET/CT, serves outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room patient populations through performing diagnostic and therapeutic quality imaging procedures in both nuclear medicine and PET/CT environments. EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum six (6) months Nuclear Medicine experience required
- Bilingual skills preferred
- PET/CT experience preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
- Graduate of a formal program in Nuclear Medicine preferred
- BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- CTNM - CA Certified Tech, Nuclear Med License
- CNMT - Cert Nuclear Med Technologist preferred
- NMTCB - Nuclear Medical Technology Cert. Bd preferred
- RT-N - ARRT Reg Tech Nuclear Med preferred
