The Department of Pediatrics at SSM Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital, Division of Pediatric Cardiology is seeking a full-time BC/BE fellowship trained general cardiologist to join a growing, well-established group of academic cardiologists.
The cardiology division is housed within the Dorothy and Larry Dallas Heart Center at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital. The Heart Center opened in 2009 and underwent significant expansion in 2016. An active congenital heart surgery program exists, and the hospital houses state-of-the-art operating rooms, a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit, a pediatric intensive care unit, a hybrid cardiac catheterization lab/operating suite and a dedicated bi-plane electrophysiology suite. SSM Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital is a free-standing childrens hospital, and is staffed by faculty members of Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Additional sites include: SSM St. Marys Hospital, the regional hub for high-risk obstetrics and home to the SSM Cardinal Glennon Fetal Care Institute; and SSM Saint Louis University hospital, the medical teaching hospital for Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
