Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is growing to serve our community. This is a great opportunity for physicians and advanced practice clinicians to join our primary care division. More than 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians, as well as more than 800 advanced practice clinicians, are employed by the health network through LVPG.
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an experienced physician with a passion for clinical care and resident education to join the Department of Family Medicine as a member of the core faculty.
About the LVHN Family Medicine Residency Program:
- The Lehigh Valley Family Medicine Residency is a well established program, with a recognized history of excellence in resident education.
- This is an ACGME accredited program with Osteopathic Recognition.
- The residency is expanding and now accepts eight residents per year.
- About half of our residents are MDs and half are DOs.
- We offer an innovative educational program. Our residency design is based upon leading-edge medical education theory and research.
- We have been honored nationally for our relationship-centered care, for our educational innovations in residency education, and for pioneering many of the developments underlying the patient-centered medical home

About the Position:
- The selected candidate will split their time between resident education (.3 FTE), resident precepting (.1 FTE) and clinical hours (.6 FTE). This position offers flexibility in scheduling.
- This position is eligible for faculty appointment through LVHN’s academic affiliate, the University of South Florida (USF).
- We are seeking an experienced physician who will bring new ideas, thoughts, opinions, and skills to the program.
- The following skill sets will be viewed favorably but are not required:
- Family medicine with obstetrics
- DEI expertise
- Point of care ultrasound

Qualifications
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
