About the role:
This role will help to support professional education tactics for societal relations and educational grants. In this position you will engage with internal and external stakeholders, including medical societies and associations, and act as a liaison for Boston Scientific Cardiology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engagement with medical societies and associations to support programs, activities and education
- Coordination of educational activities at conferences and tradeshows
- Effectively communicate strategy and planning both internally and externally
- Develop relationships with HCPs and BSC personnel to successfully promote societal relations
- Attend critical industry conferences to maintain external relationships
- Assist with functions relative to the educational grants processes including review, documentation and payment processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years of experience in professional education/societal relations; OR associate’s degree required with 3+ years of experience in conferences/tradeshow management/professional education/societal relations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships
- Maintains well organized materials, documents and reports
- Proven ability to work independently in a high-paced, changing environment
- Knowledge of software programs: Blackbaud; Engage; Microsoft Project
