You found what you were looking for!
At Hawthorne Park Animal Care Center, we provide our team of 4 doctors with the opportunity to pursue a fulfilling career while still having time to spend doing the things they enjoy outside of the clinic. A schedule designed with you in mind features generous PTO, CE days, a 4-day workweek, and only ~12 Saturdays each year! Oh, and did we mention no on-call or after-hours emergency duties?
We’ve built a tenured and fully utilized support team of 4 CVTs, 10 assistants, and 3 receptionists to ensure our doctors feel supported and can practice medicine at the top of their license. Our staff has fun outside of work as well with activities like bowling, wine tasting, putt-putt golf, hockey games, lunches, dinners, and more! We are a tight-knit group and always up for a good time!
Our AVMA-accredited practice invests in cutting-edge technology as well to ensure our doctors and staff are equipped to provide the best possible healthcare. At Hawthorne Park, you will find a spacious surgical suite with CO2 cutting laser and advanced monitoring equipment, a well-stocked treatment area with Midmark dental equipment, digital radiography, and high-speed drills, an expansive boarding and grooming area, and a fully operational rehabilitation space with hydrotherapy treadmill and therapeutic cold laser just to name a few!
We are also proud to support our community through our work with several canine police units and the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
