JHCP is looking for a Medical Office Assistant to provide excellent customer service to our patients at our NCR Pulmonology Practice in Washington, D.C. The Medical Office Assistant in the managed care practice provides for the smooth flow of patients through the practice, for the proper disposition of telephone calls that are received by and originate from the practice and for the coordination of patient appointments and correspondence.

Shift: Non-exempt. - Full-time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two years’ work experience preferred.
Must successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role, including but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.
Salary Range: Minimum $16.86 per hour - Maximum $27.84 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
