We are seeking a Client Success Consultant to join our dynamic Federal/Public Sector team. Reporting to the EVP of Client Success, you will be responsible for creating and driving outcomes for the sales, marketing, and client delivery areas of the business.
Responsibilities- Drive expansion and adoption of our software and services in the Federal/Public Sector.
- Support the onboarding process for each new client, from technical evaluation and business requirements onward.
- Assist the sales team in driving capture for new clients and managing renewals.
- Provide critical insights to the product team as a means to improve our developing platform.
- Maintain client health and introduce new, valuable features as they become relevant on the customer journey.
- Document client success stories and prepare market-ready intellectual capital.
- Conduct market research and attend industry events and meetings to track new opportunities and trends in the market.
- Develop points of view in core product areas.
- Play a key role in the development of product and brand marketing materials.
- Drive the development and execution of innovative growth strategies to enhance customer success.
- Educate champions and their teams on the value of our product and help key opportunities for implementation.
- Build relationships both internally to STG and externally to relevant industry contacts.
- Generate trust and credibility at multiple levels in existing accounts after purchase and through the sales cycle.
- Document and maintain client delivery methodologies and operating procedures.
- Guide new clients through a systematic onboarding process to facilitate making decisions around their needs and goals.
- Proactively identify problems and resolutions.
- Contribute to initiatives outside of client conversations that better the client experience, both low-touch and high-touch.
- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and support team members to foster a strong sense of community and information sharing.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Use tools like JIRA for project management and Confluence for documentation to maintain clear and organized workflows.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience demonstrating a solid record of strong performance and growing responsibilities (grad school counts as two years).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to maintain flexibility in a quick paced environment.
- Strong prioritization and organization skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Local to the DC area, able to commute to offices in VA and PA.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (applicants must be U.S. citizens & live in the US).
Preferred Qualifications:- MBA or advanced related degree.
- Previous experience in the fintech industry, with an understanding of financial systems and regulations.
- Previous experience in Federal and/or Public Sector grants and loans.
