Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Summerville, SC. Position Highlights:
- Join an established and successful practice that has served women in Summerville and the greater Charleston Metro Area for almost 30 years.
- Full time position for someone who wants to work 40 hours per week seeing obstetrics and gynecology patients.
- This is a clinic only position and does not require any hospital, call, nights, or weekends.
- 2 office locations where women’s health nurse practitioner or physician assistant will work with patients along with the physicians and will assist with the management of the clinic when the physicians are out for deliveries, surgeries, or vacation.
- Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medications.
- Will assist physicians with scheduling patient appointments and surgical procedures at Summerville Medical Center.
- Clinic volume will be about 25 patients per day.
- Expected to perform office procedures such as IUD insertion, Nexplanon insertions, and endometrial biopsies.

Requirements:
- National Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification or ability to obtain.
- Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain.
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain.
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain.
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans.
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members, and management staff.
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician.
- One year of full-time experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred.
