Responsibilities
Position Summary: Performs MRI procedures ensuring maximum quality imaging, patient safety, and accuracy of information for interpretation. Able to perform all aspects of various MRI procedures. This position requires providing care/service to critically ill patients, from rehabilitating adolescents to geriatric populations, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited MRI Program
- Advanced MRI ARRT certification required (RTMR)
- BLS - AHA
- EIV
- Experience with automatic injectors
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year prior experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
- CT RTTF
- Fluoroscopy Permit
- ARMRIT
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
