Young-Williams Animal Center has an immediate need for a full-time Veterinarian. We are the Municipal Intake Shelter for the City of Knoxville and Knox County, taking in over 10,000 animals per year.
The Shelter Veterinarian is responsible for all medical services provided to the animals housed at the Shelter. Responsibilities include:
- Providing medical care to shelter animals.
- Educating adopters, students, staff, and volunteers on proper animal care and disease control.
- Coordinating with Directors of Shelter Operations.
