Job Responsibilities
- Assists in patient preparation, positioning, and completion of examinations.
- Actively seeks instruction and demonstration of medical imaging techniques, practices, and processes from credentialed technologists.
- Observes a patient when required.
- Assists in patient transporting.
- Assists in ensuring all necessary supplies are available and stocked.
- Assists technical staff with any/all duties necessary for completion of imaging studies.
- Applies principles of patient safety during all aspects of patient care.
- Effectively uses Radiology Information System.
- Efficiently completes, reviews, and prepares paperwork and corroborates a patient’s clinical history with the procedure and ensuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.
- Maintains confidentiality and an ethical relationship with all patients and medical records.

Minimum Requirements: Candidate must be a first-year medical imaging student actively attending an accredited educational radiologic technology program recognized by the JRC-ARRT, JRC-DMS, or accredited program recognized by the CCAHEP or CMA.
