We’re looking for a Clinical Specialist in Newport News, VA. As a member of the clinical support team, you are responsible for providing clinical and technical expertise and support of the sales process to colleagues, current customers and/or new customers.
Your responsibilities as the Clinical Specialist will include:
- Acquire the knowledge and become a SME of ivWatch, its Products and iv infusion and vascular access practice.
- Provide educational training, clinical process, and procedures in settings ranging from one-on-one sessions to group facilitation across all clinical settings and facilities.
- Integrate into all accounts, build trust and relationships, and establish strong rapport with customers.
- Provide medical professionals with sales support, information, and training on the use of ivWatch products and with staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
- Use clinical expertise to identify customer training and in-service needs with the goal of increasing customer usage.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customers.
- Conduct evaluations, implementations, and ongoing support within all accounts.
- Provide sales support, clinical in-services, training, and guidance to current or potential customers.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Attend trade shows where new products and technologies are showcased and conferences to meet other sales representatives and clients and discuss new product developments.
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Document all activities, communications, and planned activities in the company’s CRM and update it daily.
To be a successful candidate, we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent with an R.N. designation.
- Strong clinical and industry background with an in-depth understanding of iv therapy.
- Teaching and technical device training education experience.
- Ability to positively represent the company and build strong relationships.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated capability of building strong working relationships with internal/external customers.
- Ability to work an unpredictable schedule that may occasionally change on short notice due to schedule changes or delays.
- Accustomed to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
- Self-motivation, taking on additional responsibilities without being asked and managing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work long hours and travel extensively, approximately 60 - 75% of the time as needed.
