Position: Speech-Language Pathologist
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses.
- Provide therapy sessions consistent with patients' needs and goals, and adjust as necessary.
- Document and report on patients' progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate speech-language pathology services with other healthcare services.
- Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and techniques for managing speech and language impairments.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current with the latest research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Valid state license/certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
