Unleash Your Passion: As a Speech Therapist, you'll initiate skilled speech therapy treatments as you make a significant difference in the lives of the residents.
Duties Include:
- Evaluate residents and develop a treatment plan that will meet their needs.
- Choose activities that will help the residents carry out their daily works independently.
- Watch the residents as they carry out the tasks given to them.
- Observe/assess the progress of the residents & prepare detailed progress reports.
- Help in rehabilitating residents disabled as a result of injury, illness, or other problems.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
- Maintain documentation of resident care services by auditing resident & department records.
- Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contribute to team effort.
Requirements Include:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.
- Current New York State License to Practice as a Speech Therapist.
- Experience is a plus.
