(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Adult-NP - A group practice that provides outpatient opioid and alcohol addiction treatment services is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work in an Outpatient Addiction clinic.
This is a 20 - 40 hour per week position. Applicants should possess expertise in consultation with individuals who need emotional, psychological, and behavioral support. Program clinicians will work collaboratively with the physician to provide comprehensive approaches to patients' needs.
Duties include:
- Physical examinations
- Mental health evaluations
- Medical/medication management
- Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services including addiction-focused research on medication-assisted treatment including treatment with Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Subutex.
The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively with the Medical Director and multidisciplinary team.
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing medically necessary primary care and addiction treatment services to adults suffering from substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders under the direction of the Medical Director. Work is performed in compliance with all State and Federal guidelines and in accordance with policy and procedures set forth by the facility.
Experience:
- Mental Health/Substance abuse disorders: 2 years (Preferred)
- ARNP Practitioner: 4 years (Preferred)
- DATA Waiver.
Several Locations in the Boston area as well as North of Boston.
