Performs quality adult cardiac ultrasound including the use of color flow and cardiac Doppler. Performs all echocardiography exams including transthoracic, exercise stress, pharmacological stress echoes, transesophageal echoes, and assists with structural heart procedures for patients. Submits examination for cardiologist review and interpretation. Participates in the development of the Echocardiography department by active participation in quality improvement. Works closely with the Cardiovascular Imaging Manager on all issues affecting the department. Promotes health improvements and provides health services of extraordinary value and quality to our community in a healing and compassionate environment.

$10,000 Sign-On for eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) with emphasis and clinical rotation in Adult Echocardiography.
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or
- Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Post graduate experience in adult echocardiography including stress echocardiography (exercise and pharmacological), transthoracic and transesophageal techniques. New graduates of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program will be considered, with letters of reference from clinical site instructors and interpreting physicians.
- 1 year Experience with Definity and Agitated Saline enhanced echocardiography.
