Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Work Location: Hoover Oral Surgery Clinic

Under supervision of the RN, to set up and handle sterile supplies and instruments for the surgeon, anticipate surgeon's needs, maintain an accurate count of sponges, sharps and instruments and ensure that all team members adhere to the principles of sterile technique. May be assigned to rotate and restock operating rooms and/or clean equipment.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED and dental assistant experience with training in surgical procedures and instrumentation required.
Preferred: Previous experience in oral surgery or dental surgery.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment.
