Location
Our client is located in Salem, Ohio, centrally located between Pittsburgh and Cleveland with easy access to the Akron-Canton area and Youngstown. Salem is a charming, well-maintained town with an ample selection of stores, and its beautifully restored downtown buildings are filled with new and unique shops, restaurants, and galleries. The area offers a great cost of living in comparison to its neighboring cities, which provides you with more housing opportunities at an affordable price too.
Practice Overview
Our client is the busiest and only AAHA-accredited practice in the area. With multiple doctors on the team, collaboration on cases is always possible and encouraged. They are a full-service, small animal clinic that is open seven days a week. The facility features a dedicated in-house lab, pharmacy, ICU and urgent care treatment area, digital radiography, ultrasound, and full surgical suites. They take pride in practicing medicine raising the standard of patient care to new heights, prioritizing the well-being of their patients above all else.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Work general practice with the opportunity to see urgent and emergent cases should you choose
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Fully work-up and treat a broad range of small animal cases
- Provide gold-standard care for both your patients and clients
- Build lasting relationships with the team and your clients
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive, collaborative work environment
- Stay up-to-date with medical information and changes within veterinary medicine
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Ohio
- New Grads are encouraged to apply! They would love to mentor.
- Ability to perform general wellness exams
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment

Schedule
- Made in three week blocks, core hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm unless on your dedicated surgery day
- Closed daily 12:00pm - 1:00pm for lunch with rarely a time where you are not able to take a break
