Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, will consider 36, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- AL license
- Skills Required: Cardiac Monitoring, Colostomy Care, Feeding Tube Care and Management, Renal Failure, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Heparin/Insulin/PCA Experience, CVA, Respiratory/Thoracic Experience and Wound Care
- BLS
- EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
- Skills Preferred: Management of Dysrhythmias, Post Angiogram and Post MI
Other Details:
- First time travelers are accepted
- Locals accepted
- Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility – please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting

Experience Required: 2 years
Every other weekend required
Must pass cardiac exam during orientation

7N cares for a diverse Med/Surg population. The unit is primarily cared for by Hospitalists who have physician or NP coverage 24/7.
