The Respiratory Therapist performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary procedures and related activities according to department standards. The RT is responsible for providing medically prescribed respiratory care procedures designed to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of California
- Recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a RRT
- One year of recent acute care experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Wages are based on prior related experience.
