Caregiver Relations Consultant
The Caregiver Relations Consultant II serves as a key resource for Core Leaders and Caregivers, providing advanced expertise in employee relations matters. This role ensures adherence to HR policies, regulatory compliance, and best practices for managing employee and labor relations. Responsibilities include handling complex investigations, providing recommendations, and advising on corrective actions. The Consultant also focuses on maintaining effective communication, managing risks, and utilizing HR technology to support organizational goals.

Caregiver Relations Consultant Responsibilities
- Provide advanced consulting expertise on employee relations issues, including performance management, grievances, and leave of absence/ADA matters.
- Serve as a consultant to Core Leaders on complex investigations, offering recommendations for corrective actions and discipline.
- Identify and escalate highly complex issues, including potential Title VII allegations, to Sr. HR Consultants.
- Assist in resolving issues between Core Leaders and Caregivers, advocating for fair workplace practices in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
- Manage risk and implement best practices in employee relations services, including compliance with regulatory bodies and legal requirements (e.g., EEOC, ADA/LOA, Wage & Hour, Wrongful Discharge).
- Promote and utilize HR technology, metrics, and systems to support business needs, ensuring accurate and timely case management through the ServiceNow system.
- Collaborate with Core Leaders, local HR, HRSC, HR Connect, and other stakeholders, including Labor/Employment counsel as needed.
- Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relations, addressing complex questions and escalating issues through formalized processes when necessary.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and protocols, and offer expert advice on compliance with Federal and State employment laws and organizational policies.
- Use critical thinking and strategic methodologies to develop innovative solutions and support HR projects.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with State and Federal laws, maintaining confidentiality of caregiver, patient, and business-related information.
Key Areas of Focus
- Act as a trusted advisor to Core Leaders and Caregivers, providing personalized support during critical moments in the employment lifecycle.
- Coach leaders through complex employee relations challenges and offer resolutions based on thorough contract and policy reviews.
- Maintain HR metrics and dashboards, reporting findings to align actions with business needs.
- Balance caregiver and Core Leader relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to organizational values.
Caregiver Relations Consultant Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of employee relations principles, Federal and State employment laws, organizational policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen, analyze, and educate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Proven experience in managing employee relations concerns and investigations, applying critical thinking to resolve issues effectively.
Compensation: $44-$73/hr. (DOE)
