ERCP/Endo Tech–PRN

Schedule: PRN
Shift: Day Shift (1-2 shifts a week)
On Call: 1 day and 1 weekend shift a month.
Location: 2300 Lone Star Road; Mansfield, TX 76063
The role you’ll contribute:
Under nursing and/or physician supervision, assists in the performance of endoscopic examinations and procedures; performs decontamination, disinfection, and/or sterilization of examination equipment, instruments and supplies. Performs tests and maintains records for biological monitoring. Assists physician in obtaining pathological tissue specimens. Assists nursing staff in nursing care as delegated within appropriate scope of practice. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing endoscopy services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Under the direct supervision of the doctor performs or assists with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
- Assists registered nurse and physician in exams and procedures by holding and passing endoscopes/colon scopes upon physician request.
- Labels all medications, to include but not limited to, water, Mylicon, and saline.
- Cleans, disinfects and/or sterilizes endoscopes, guide wires, biopsy forceps and brushes used during endoscopy exams and treatments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Endo Tech with ERCP experience.
- BLS.
