Job Description:
We are looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about animal health and welfare and can provide comprehensive veterinary services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Our veterinarians are responsible for providing medical care, diagnosing and treating various illnesses and injuries, performing surgeries, and advising pet owners on proper care and treatment. The role is located in Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and consultations with clients to assess and diagnose health issues in animals.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans, including medical, surgical, and preventive care, and communicate these plans effectively to clients.
- Perform various surgical procedures, such as spaying/neutering, dental extractions, and soft tissue surgeries.
- Provide guidance and support to the veterinary team, including technicians and assistants, to ensure a high standard of care and efficient workflow.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay current on the latest advances in veterinary medicine and technology and incorporate them into practice.
- Communicate effectively with clients, offering education and guidance on pet wellness and preventative care.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with specialists and referral facilities when necessary.
Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Ohio
