TPMG Norge Family Medicine in Williamsburg, VA
TPMG Norge Family Medicine has been serving patients in Williamsburg and the surrounding areas since 1990.
Patients are cared for by appointment only. If you experience a sudden illness or injury during office hours, please contact our office, and indicate that you have an urgent condition requiring medical attention. We will either schedule an appointment for you on the same day or refer you to the hospital emergency department. If you require same-day medical attention, please call early in the day to schedule an appointment.
For patient convenience, TPMG Norge Family Medicine offers designated in-office laboratory testing.
If hospitalization is required, our physicians will coordinate your care with a carefully selected and experienced hospital-based physician.
Please request prescription refills during your regular appointment with your physician. If you find yourself without refills, please send a request through TPMG Patient Portal, or contact our office at 757-564-3700. Be sure to have your prescription bottle available when you call. We no longer accept faxed prescription refill requests from the pharmacy. If you are due for an appointment, you will need to have this scheduled before refills can be issued. Please allow 72 hours for us to process your request.
Please request referrals during your appointment and allow 1 week for us to process your request with your insurance carrier. For any questions or concerns regarding referrals, please call our office.
If you have any questions or concerns about your bill, please call our Central Billing Office at (757) 232-8777. If you have any concerns about your insurance, please contact your insurance carrier.
If you have an urgent medical need after office hours or on the weekend that requires the attention of a physician, please call our office. Our telephones are automatically transferred to our medical answering service. They will relay your message to our on-call physician. TPMG Norge Family Medicine is pleased to, also, partner with Velocity Urgent Care to provide after hours urgent care to our patients. We realize not all medical emergencies occur within our office hours and teaming up with Velocity Urgent Care to get you the care you need, when you need it is our utmost priority. All of your visit notes and tests will be securely sent to our office immediately after your visit, so we may add them to your chart and your provider can make recommendations moving forward.
