The Medical Assistant position at Seattle Reproductive Medicine will allow you to work closely with a multidisciplinary surgical team to provide excellent patient care while making a difference every day.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Seattle Reproductive Medicine, located in Kirkland, WA. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, 7:45 am-4:15 pm, with 2-3 weekends of required On Call per year in Seattle and up to 2 holidays per year in Seattle
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets up and rooms patients for ultrasounds and procedures, assist physicians or ultrasound technicians. Procedures include, but are not limited to: IUIs, endometrial biopsies, HSGs, OHs, PAP smears, ultrasounds, uterine soundings, and physical examinations.
- Cleans and stocks rooms, and cleans and cares for equipment and instruments according to OSHA and clinic guidelines.
- Verifying patient information and recording pertinent medical data
- Performs phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions.
- Ensures lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
- Medication education and instruction.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assistant Program and active WA state license or Registered Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant Phlebotomy Certification required
- Maintain updated BLS/CPR Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Encompass essential medical knowledge and terminology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and to conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
- Covers weekends and holidays as assigned.
- Works in locations other than the employee’s home office when requested.
- Identifies improvement opportunities and participates in resolving problems identified.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$24.00-$32.00 per hour
The compensation range for this position is between $24.00 and $32.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
