Our Walnut Creek practice is seeking a full-time Back Office Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence. This position will consist of back-office duties including:
Responsibilities:
- Preparing patient for exams and/or procedures
- Vitals and rooming patients
- Administering medications
- Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms
- Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
- Scanning and faxing
- Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry
- Medical Record entry
Requirements:
- 1+ years Back Office experience (preferred, not mandatory)
- Medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
