This acute-care community healthcare facility provides all major diagnostic, surgical, and medical services and offers the most advanced, specialized care possible. Now a 643-bed facility, the organization that began in 1905 as a 10-bed sanatorium has grown into a renowned patient-centered hospital. Because Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is a not-for-profit organization, hospital revenue is used to support research, education, and outreach, while maintaining and enhancing facilities and services.
Our group practice provides anesthesia services at Piedmont Hospital, Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Piedmont Newnan Hospital, and three ambulatory surgery centers.

Case Assignments
General surgery, plastic surgery, obstetrical and gynecological surgery, orthopedic surgery, brain/spine surgery, neurointerventional IR, emergency stroke program, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, liver/kidney/pancreas/heart transplants, TAVR, clip procedures, high acuity heart failure program with LVAD, ECMO, etc. and non-OR procedure cases.

My name is Andrew Stufflebean. I'm the Chief CRNA with NAPA Piedmont Atlanta. I've been with the practice for 6 years after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. I grew up in Charleston, SC and have now called Atlanta home for over 8 years collectively. I am passionate about grounding my practice in the fundamental human connection and trust that is required of our specialty.
Team Highlights
Our group practice has served the greater Atlanta, GA area since 1970. It includes 37 anesthesiologists, 25 CRNAs, and 85 CAAs working together in a care team model.
This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment.
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent.
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition.
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed.
Qualifications
- Current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Total Rewards
- Salary: $195K-$240K.
- Sign on incentives: $50K for new hires with at least 1 year of cardiac experience; three-year commitment.
- Cardiac Stipend: $25K-$45K.
- Call pay each shift you’re assigned/take call: call earning potential up to $30K.
